Getting Started with CaptionCall Mobile:

1. Install the CaptionCall Mobile app.
2. Create an account that meets federal requirements to enable your service.
3. Receive your new CaptionCall Mobile phone number for captioned calls. Alternatively, you can use your existing phone number and forward calls to CaptionCall Mobile for captioning on your mobile device or tablet.
4. Grant permissions to CaptionCall Mobile when prompted. This allows quick access to your contacts, captioned voicemail, voicemail alerts, and the ability to dial and receive calls from any phone number, just like a regular phone.
5. Start making calls with instant live captions using CaptionCall Mobile.

Please note that CaptionCall Mobile is exclusively for individuals with hearing loss who require captions to effectively use the phone in the United States only. Additionally, CaptionCall and CaptionCall Mobile are only available in the United States.

Federal law mandates that only registered users with hearing loss can use Internet Protocol (IP) captioned telephones with captions turned on. IP captioned telephone service may involve a live operator who generates captions based on the other party's speech. The cost of generated captions is covered by a federally-administered fund and does not pass on to qualified individuals.
